Below find a link to an online form I would like you to fill out. Sharing private information is strictly voluntary but the information I ask for is meant to help me understand you better as an audience, to ease class logistics, and--frankly--to help me teach better.
To develop this into a teaching moment: everything you can know about your audience helps you craft messages more easily and efficiently. This is why professors are so fond of asking you to fill out index cards at the beginning of a college class, and you may someday write the dreaded essay, "Myself as a Writer," for a later (not this one) English class.
